Katalin Farnady worked with architect Peter Miles to transform a traditional waterfront home in Annapolis into a modern, one‑level residence centred on comfort, light, and views of the water.

Farnady emphasised that “function is luxury,” guiding the homeowners in selecting warm, comfortable furnishings and materials that balanced contemporary design with livability. One of the most dramatic changes was opening up the home with floor‑to‑ceiling glass sliding doors and raising ceiling heights to blur the line between indoors and outdoors—an effect Farnady and Miles achieved while maintaining the home’s suitability for long‑term living.
